INAC Yukon Region supports northern political and economic development through managing of federal interests and promoting sustainable development in northern communities. INAC Yukon Region is committed to "giving life" to Yukon land claim, self-government and devolution agreements.

The INAC Yukon Region provides programs and services through four directorates which reflect national strategic areas: the Government, the People, the Land and the Economy. There are about 75 staff in the region, all based in the territorial capital of Whitehorse. The Regional Director General is Joanne Wilkinson.
